Baan Thong Luang:
Hendrix College donation

AddThis

This page is purely for sharing the pictures and videos taken during the delivery of goods bought with money generously donated by a group of students from Hendrix college, Arkansas, USA.

The man wearing the beige jacket is Amneun, our contact at the village, he is also the main teacher at the school. He tells us what is needed.

I come bearing gifts from far away

James hands-over a token amount of cash (2,000 Baht) while Amneun says thank you to everyone involved.

(This was not 'set-up', 'planned' or 'rehearsed'... I was certainly not expecting it and didn't know about it until the camera was 'rolling'. I think Amneun and I both had a little 'stage-fright').

Update, January 11, 2010.
