Hear authentic tribal music, taste their traditionaly brewed corn whisky, if you dare! Each year they prepare new, colorful, handmade clothing for this occasion. Stay over night, learn real traditions, customs, and dance with the Lisu hill tribe all day all night for 3 days, until the end of the festival. |

Chiang Dao CaveEither on the way there, or on the way home we can visit Chiang Dao Cave. The cave complex is supposed to extend more than twelve kilometres into the mountain but there are five main areas inside where visitors can safely view the interior. Just outside the main entrance is a crystal clear pool containing a lot of very large fish that are extremely well fed due to the ever-present fish food vendor and children eager to oblige. The water comes directly from the mountain. Probably the most beautiful images are the formations of crystals from thousands of years of water dripping through the rocks to make solid sparkling waterfalls. |
